There are four types of primer types and film thickness of primer: epoxy resin, polyester resin, acrylic resin and polyurethane resin. Generally, primer is selected according to the end use, use occasion, processing degree and matching of topcoat. The film thickness of the primer is usually 5 μm. 1, epoxy primer-good adhesion with the substrate, water resistance, alkali resistance, good chemical corrosion resistance, is the earliest coil with primer, flexible performance is not as good as other primers.

4, polyurethane primer-with chemical resistance, friction resistance, durability, good flexibility.
Type and film thickness of topcoat
The most commonly used topcoats are polyester, silicon modified polyester, polyvinyl chloride plastisol and polyvinylidene fluoride.
1, polyester-good adhesion, a wide range of formability and outdoor durability, chemical resistance medium.
2, silicon modified polyester-coating hardness, wear resistance and heat resistance is good, as well as good outdoor durability and no chalking, gloss retention and flexibility is limited, the cost is medium to high.
3, polyvinylidene chloride-has good formability and color retention, excellent outdoor durability and powder resistance, solvent resistance, limited color, expensive.
4. PVC plastisol
Excellent external durability and chemical resistance, damage resistance, beautiful appearance, need special primer matching. The surface can have a smooth type, used for pressing or automatic shrinkage type to form a pattern. The coating thickness is generally greater than 100um, except for plastisol, under normal circumstances, the coating thickness of primer and topcoat is> = 20um, and the performance of the product can achieve the intended purpose.
